What We Do

Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is a payment app that lets you make simple, easy and quick transactions using Unified Payments Interface (UPI). You can make direct bank payments to anyone on UPI using their UPI ID or scanning their QR with the BHIM app. You can also request money through the app from a UPI ID.

Send money by entering UPI ID , account number, aadhaar or by scanning a QR.

Request money from other UPI users by entering their UPI ID.

Make payments quicker by scanning the QR of the person you want to send money to. Share your QR to let others make payments to you as well!

Your UPI passbook on your fingertips. Allows you to download & filter your transaction history. You can also raise disputes in case of failed/pending transactions here.

Manage your UPI profile here to switch your UPI ID. Share your QR code or download it in the profile section

Switch between multiple bank accounts linked with your BHIM App. You can set/change your UPI PIN or check your balance

How to access BHIM:

For First Time User

Step 1

Download and Install BHIM app from Google Play store/Apple App Store.

Step 2

Select your preferred language.

Step 3

Select SIM card which has the mobile number registered with your respective bank.

Step 4

Set the application passcode required to enter the app.

Step 5

Link your bank accounts using bank account option.

Step 6

Set your UPI PIN by providing last 6 digits of debit card and expiry date of debit card.

Step 7

Click on send and enter UPI ID. You can also Scan & Pay the QR of the person to whom you want to send money.

Step 8

Enter the UPI Pin you set earlier to authenticate the transaction.

Step 9

Check ‘Transaction’ to see the status of the transaction.
